Alpaca Butler & Peach Miniature Bronze Sculpture

The adorable Alpaca, not to be confused with the similar, yet slightly larger Llama has been expertly crafted in miniature here and cast in pure foundry bronze. Alpacas are extremely docile and are prized as pets and cattle all over the world. Their soft wool is farmed for many uses and various purposes including, clothing, bedding, hats and scarfs.

Solid foundry bronze, cast by hand using the traditional lost wax method, before the surface is worked through patination, acids and heat applied by hand for a deep, rich brown finish, before a final coat of wax is applied, protecting the finish and keeping the colour rich for years to come.
