Opalite is a manufactured opalescent glass, not a natural opal, milky white with a blue shimmer that shifts under light. Carved into a heart shape and polished smooth. Sold and enjoyed for its shimmer rather than any particular tradition. Sizes vary piece to piece, as each one is cut and finished individually.
