Merlinite Crystal Egg

Merlinite is a trade name, not a mineral name - the black-and-white stone sold under it is usually indigo gabbro, an igneous rock. Carved into an egg shape and polished smooth. Sold for its striking mottled pattern rather than any particular tradition. Sizes vary piece to piece, as each one is cut and finished individually.
