Hematite Dowsing Pendulum

Hematite is an iron oxide with a distinctive metallic grey sheen and a surprising weight for its size. Set as a dowsing pendulum on an approximately 23cm chain, with a pendant approximately 3.5cm in length. Dowsing pendulums are a weighted object swung on a chain to give a yes/no answer - the practice has been used for thousands of years, with the earliest depictions of a similar Y-shaped tool dating to around 6000BC, thought to be used for locating water. The practice has taken many forms across different cultures and eras since.
