Black obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass, formed as lava cools too quickly to crystallise, giving it a smooth, glassy black finish. Shaped into an arrowhead and polished smooth. Long carried in folklore as a protective stone. Sizes vary piece to piece, as each one is cut and finished individually.
